Anonymous asked: My question is, when is it okay to say you're native american? do you have to have a certain about of blood or be recognized by a tribe? etc.
Well theres four of us that run this blog, but I can say with a consensus of us (actually three of us agree on this, aye) is that everyone’s fam has a story as to why they werent enrolled, why their ancestor passed as something else other than ndn, etc and you (or their descendant) is embracing your native heritage on your own. Thats cool, enrolled or not, federally recognized or state recognized, we feel that all Natives are brothers and sisters!
Hey yall, we’re back and in action. Keep sending photos, suggestions, etc and we’re gonna resume putting YOURS up! But dont send any of no ugly people, ayeee just kidding, native beauty comes in all forms! - JD
